Capture

Save to Dexi — Chrome extension

Chrome Web Store · app.dexi.net

Save to Dexiputs one-click capture in your browser toolbar. It saves the page you're on — title, link, favicon and any text you've selected — into your Dexi workspace, where it becomes a note: taggable, searchable (including by meaning), and part of your knowledge graph like everything else.

Add to Chrome — it's free

Three ways to save

  1. Click the toolbar button — the save popup opens with the page pre-filled; add tags like #competitor-acme and save without leaving the tab.
  2. Keyboard shortcutCtrl+Shift+S (Cmd+Shift+S on Mac). If another extension owns that shortcut, rebind it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
  3. Right-click— save the current page, just the text you've selected, or any link you're pointing at, straight from the context menu.

Getting started

  1. Install Save to Dexi from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Sign in at app.dexi.netin the same browser — the extension uses your existing session, so there's nothing else to configure.
  3. Click the toolbar icon on any page to save it.

Privacy

The extension only acts when you invoke it — there are no content scripts watching your browsing. It reads the current tab's address, title and selection at the moment you save, and nothing is sent anywhere except to your own Dexi account.

Not on Chrome?

The bookmarklet does the same job in any browser — set it up under Bookmarks → Setup in the app. On iPhone, the iOS share-sheet shortcutsaves pages from Safari or any app; it's powered by a personal API token from Settings → API tokens. See all the ways to save.
